López, Reading Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
In a tight tilt between the Reading Fightin Phils and the Erie SeaWolves, José López was the deciding factor. The Reading left-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Alex Broden recorded his 1st save for Reading. With the win, Reading improves its record to 2-0.

López ran roughshod over the Erie lineup. The left-hander allowed just 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 6. With the victory, he goes to 1-0 on the season.

"José had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said Reading manager Shaun Larkin.
