When the games really matter, the Miami (GCL) Marlins put on their best show, beating the Houston (GCL) Astros by a final score of 7-0. Spike Abrams slugged 2 home runs. Miami (GCL) now leads Houston (GCL) 1-0 in the best-of-5 affair.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Abrams hit a solo home run off Luis Gallegos. It propelled the Marlins into the lead, 1-0.
