Lee on Fire: 5-for-6 for FCL

It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-6 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Jared Lee, it came around today.
The 24-year-old first baseman scattered hits all over Roger Dean Stadium to pace the 9-4 FCL Mets victory over the FCL Marlins.
FCL skipper Shane Greene told reporters in the press room that "Lee deserves a hat-tip."
"He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Lee hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit."
Jared Lee doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
So far this season, Lee has put up a .467 batting average with 14 hits, 1 home run and 8 RBIs.

Un-four-gettable: Banks Hits for Cycle

Finishing with 4 hits is a great day for any player, but Randy Banks made it even more special by hitting for the cycle at JetBlue Park.
Banks had 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run for the FCL Red Sox and led them to a win, 9-2, over the FCL Pirates. The third baseman also finished with 4 runs scored and 6 RBI.
"Awesome," Banks said when asked how the accomplishment felt.
Randy Banks hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Arturo Raffone in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.
In the current season, Banks has put up a .524 batting average with 11 hits, 1 home run, 6 runs batted in and scored 9 runs.
