Astros Rally For Late Win Over Nationals
|
FCL starter Rudy Buck pitched effectively against the FCL Nationals at Space Coast Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-5. Manny Pérez earned the save, his 3rd. The loss drops FCL to 6-6.
FCL used a timely hit from Elvis Caballero to get the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Astros ahead, 7-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Buck.
