Marlins Use Late Rally to Win 7th Straight
The Miami (GCL) Marlins bested the St. Louis (GCL) Cardinals, 11-9, at Roger Dean Stadium. Jeff Adams was one of the standouts. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times. Miami (GCL) pitcher Ron Wood got the win, upping his record to 3-0. Jorge Reyna got the loss. Ian Johnston recorded his 5th save for Miami (GCL).

Miami (GCL) used the timely hitting of Jake Jackson to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Marlins on top, 10-9. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Jackson said.

The Marlins improved their record to 12-2 with the win over St. Louis (GCL).
