Red Sox Stay Hot, Beat Pirates, 6-2

The FCL Red Sox topped the FCL Pirates, 6-2, with catcher Osvaldo Froes playing a big role. Froes went 2-3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs for the Red Sox in the win. FCL has now won 5 straight, while the Pirates have lost 4 in a row.
FCL designated hitter Héctor García helped the Red Sox go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, García hit a run-scoring single off FCL pitcher Bob Dawson.
"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said FCL manager Kyle Lohse.
