FCL pitcher Bernardo Ricardo had a large part in his team subduing the FCL Mets, 3-1. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Manny Pérez, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 6th save. The win has FCL at 9-13.
FCL used the hitting of Shawn Roberts to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Astros on top, 2-0. For the game, Roberts had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
FCL manager Mike Wright called it "a pretty good win."
