FCL first baseman Jared Lee was instrumental in helping the Mets triumph, 6-5, over the FCL Marlins. Lee was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. The win hiked the FCL record to 22-5.

The Mets got a big hit from third baseman Brad Miner. Facing FCL pitcher Ben Sherman in the top of the fifth, Miner pounded a solo home run to left-center. His 4th home run of the season put the Mets ahead, 6-1.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Miner told the FCL News.
