The FCL Twins had to overcome a fine effort from FCL pitcher Jesús Aragón to win, 4-3, at Ed Smith Stadium. Aragón went 6.2 innings and allowed 4 runs. Jesús Gutiérrez closed it out for his 3rd save. FCL is now 13-19, while FCL is 21-11.

FCL used a well-timed hit by Ben Bennett to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Twins ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

In postgame remarks, Bennett applauded his team's "resolve."
