The FCL Mets downed the FCL Nationals, 5-3, at Ensigns Ballpark. Steve Hunt led the way, going 1-for-4 for FCL. Jim Huffman got the win, improving to 1-0. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 1. Hugh Farrell earned the save for FCL, his 2nd.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Hunt hit a grand slam home run off Rubén Silva. It propelled the Mets into the lead, 5-1.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Hunt.

With the win, the Mets have a record of 26-8.
