Orioles Continue Skid, Thanks to MacCaw, Twins
Dave MacCaw powered the Minnesota (GCL) Twins to a win over the Baltimore (GCL) Orioles. The final score was 12-4. The Minnesota (GCL) second baseman, who is tied for 2nd in the GCL in stolen bases with 19, was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Minnesota (GCL) reliever Sergio Puenta picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jim Morris was saddled with the loss. The Orioles have now dropped 5 straight.

Tim Britton, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2024 draft, helped out the Minnesota (GCL) cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. For the game, the shortstop was 1-4 with a walk and was hit by a pitch.
