Minnesota (GCL) third baseman José Chapa contributed significantly to his team's 11-10 win over the Tampa Bay (GCL) Rays. Chapa went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Twins. Chris Arnold sewed up the save, his 5th. Minnesota (GCL) has now won 3 in a row.

Orkut Erkan had a big 2-run double for the Twins in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Minnesota (GCL) trailing 10-9 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Gil Larsen and swatted a double to center. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Twins ahead, 11-10.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Erkan.
