Astros 9-1 Winners Versus FCL
The FCL Astros topped the FCL Nationals, 9-1, with first baseman Ron Hall playing a big role. Hall went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Astros in the win. Les Jones earned the win, while 20-year old right-handed pitcher Rubén Silva took the loss for FCL. The victory puts FCL at 16-23.

With FCL trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Hall hit a fastball from Rubén Silva for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Astros ahead, 2-1.

"It was a tough day, no getting around it," said losing manager Wade Davis.
