Marlins Squelch Mets Offense in Shutout Win
The Miami (GCL) Marlins got a stellar effort from pitcher Jed Shelton, helping Miami (GCL) score a win over the visiting New York N (GCL) Mets, 4-0. Miami (GCL) has an impressive 32-13 record.

The Marlins got a big hit from right fielder Steve Walsh. Facing New York N (GCL) pitcher Jim Huffman in the bottom of the sixth, Walsh pounded a 2-run double to right-center. His 2nd double of the season put the Marlins ahead, 3-0.

"Jed giving us the start that he did was huge," said Miami (GCL) manager Shane Greene.
