The FCL Marlins defeated the FCL Nationals, 4-0, at Roger Dean Stadium. FCL was led by 19-year old third baseman Dan Berry, who was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. Jeremiah Bryan, now 2-1, was credited with the win in 1.2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 1. P.J. Thomas finished the game for FCL and earned his 1st save.

The Marlins got a big at-bat from left fielder Eddie Harvey. For the game, Harvey went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 11th double of the season gave FCL a 1-0 lead.

"Clutch hitting plus clutch pitching usually equals a win," said Harvey.
