FCL Upended, 4-1, by FCL
FCL and FCL put this game in the books despite some rain.

The FCL Mets got a sterling performance from pitcher Jim Huffman, but the FCL Marlins still prevailed, 4-1. Huffman threw 5.0 innings allowing 3 runs. Jeremiah Bryan earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. He upped his record to 3-1.

Jim Flanagan had a big solo home run for the Marlins in the bottom of the fourth inning. With FCL leading 2-1 and the bases empty, he got a fastball from Jim Huffman and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 4th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Marlins ahead, 3-1.

Flanagan called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."

The FCL win streak is now 3 games.
