In a low-scoring tilt between the Portland Sea Dogs and the Harrisburg Senators, 23-year old left-handed pitcher Dan Bell was the difference-maker. The Portland left-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. The loss drops Harrisburg to 8-16.
Chris Meyers, who is tied for 8th in the EL in hits with 30, had a direct impact on the outcome. Meyers contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Portland up, 1-0.
"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Bell.
