The Arkansas Travelers powered past the hometown Tulsa Drillers, 7-6, in the opener of the Round 1 at ONEOK Field. Arkansas left fielder Milo Alexander was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for the hosts. The Travelers now lead the series 1-0.

Arkansas used the clutch hitting of Charlie Hall to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Travelers the lead, 7-6. For the game, Hall had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Hall.
