JetHawks Heading to Round 2
|
The dream of raising a championship banner in Lancaster took a big step forward today. The Lancaster JetHawks have won the Round 1, eliminating the Lake Elsinore Storm to advance to the Round 2.
Lancaster won the final game 2-0 and the series 3-1.
Zak O'Connoly was named series MVP for a huge performance. He hit .500 with a .600 on-base percentage. He drove in 1 RBI, had 0 home runs and scored 3 runs.
The Lancaster JetHawks don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Bakersfield Blaze - San Jose Giants series. San Jose leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
