Almost There: Miami (GCL) On Cusp of R2 Triumph After 13-4 Win
With starter Ed Weber leading the charge, the Miami (GCL) Marlins crushed the Toronto (GCL) Blue Jays, 13-4, in Game 4 of the Round 2. Weber threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium as Miami (GCL) breezed to a 3-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Miami (GCL) needed the clutch hitting of Steve Bishop to seal the deal. The center fielder swatted a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Marlins on top, 5-2. For the game, Bishop had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We're one game closer to our goal," Miami (GCL) manager Shane Greene said later. "It isn't any more complicated than that."
