The Lancaster JetHawks and the Bakersfield Blaze will take the Round 2 to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the JetHawks beat the Blaze, 11-3, at The Hanger to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Lancaster third baseman Al Baker hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice.

In the bottom of the second, Lancaster shortstop Steve Peterson had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, Peterson stroked a 2-run double to right. It made the score 3-0, Lancaster. For the game, he was 2-4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Peterson said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Hanger in Lancaster.
