Quakes Craft August's Top Hurler

No doubt about it!
Rancho Cucamonga starter Jonathan Craft earned his California League Pitcher of the Month award.
He made that very clear as he mowed his way through league hitters in August.
During the month Craft chalked up a 5-0 record with a 2.52 ERA.
The Quakes star made 6 starts and surrendered 37 hits in 39.1 innings. He struck out 42 and walked 9.
To date this year, Craft shows a 11-5 record, 25 starts, 145.2 innings, 167 strikeouts and a 3.46 ERA.

Eric Columbus Winner in August

Not known for his offensive prowess, Eric Columbus set the league afire in August and took home the California League Batter of the Month award.
The Rancho Cucamonga first baseman posted a steady .374 batting average, 3 home runs, 21 RBIs and 17 runs.
This year, Columbus is batting .317 with 12 home runs and 71 RBIs.
