Pensacola Win Evens Series at 2
The Pensacola Blue Wahoos and the Jackson Generals will take the Round 1 to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation, the Blue Wahoos beat the Generals, 7-4, at The Ballpark at Jackson to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Pensacola right-hander António Castaneda had a big role in the win. He threw 8.0 innings allowing 4 runs.

Pensacola used a clutch at-bat from Jorge Bautista to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Blue Wahoos ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Afterward, Jackson manager Mark L. Johnson said: "We've hit a rough patch."

Game 5 is scheduled for Thursday at Five County Stadium in Pensacola.
