It's playoff time. The best teams have emerged from the divisional battles and now it is the survival of the fittest. Only one team will survive and they will be crowned the Southern League champions. Here are the matchups in the Round 1:

Get ready for some baseball! The playoffs are here! For those clubs fortunate enough to make the postseason, baseball's second season is just beginning. But for the majority of players and teams, today is the first day of a long offseason. Clubs in the playoffs have begun preparation for their upcoming showdowns to determine the 2025 Southern League champions. The best teams will go at it "tooth and nail" for the Round 2 crown and it all gets started in just a few days.

Season Done for Ashley

Team officials for the Jackson Generals confirmed that a torn labrum will force Andy Ashley to miss the rest of the season. Ashley sustained the injury on 09/08/2025. It remains to be seen who will replace Ashley on the active roster.
To date this season, Ashley has registered 2 starts, 6-1 won-lost mark, 3.26 ERA, 30.1 IP, 32 strikeouts and 10 walks. Opposing teams have hit .237 against him.
