Flores Blasts White Sox, Reds Take Game 3, 9-3
Riding the 3-hit performance of third baseman Kevin Flores, the Cincinnati (AZL) Reds stopped the visiting Chicago A (AZL) White Sox, 9-3, in Game 3 of the Round 2. Flores went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Reds, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

With the game tied, 3-3, in the bottom of the fifth, Flores had a key at-bat for Cincinnati (AZL). With runners on 1st and 2nd, Flores hit a run-scoring double off Robbie Hughes, making the score 4-3, Reds.

"This was a nice win for us," said Flores. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
