Oklahoma City Win Evens Series at 1
The Oklahoma City Dodgers got a strong game from starter Wally Carter, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Dodgers took the 3-2 win over the Nashville Sounds in Game 2 of the Round 1 in a 9th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the right-handed Carter. Carter threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball in the win, which brought the Dodgers into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.

Glen Porter was the walk-off hero for Oklahoma City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dodgers shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Porter.

The next game is set to be played for Wednesday, September 17th , 2025 at Herschel Greer Stadium in Nashville.
