Harrisburg Wins Pitchers' Duel, 1-0
|
José Rocha pitched well, but the Richmond Flying Squirrels still lost the game, falling, 1-0, to the Harrisburg Senators at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium. Sean Wilson finished the game for Harrisburg and earned his 5th save. The Flying Squirrels drop to 11-15 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2025 season.
Harrisburg used a timely hit from Pat Fitzpatrick to get the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Senators ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Fitzpatrick. "You've got to get results."
