Hatfield goes 4-for-5, Leads Marlins to Win
The Miami Marlins defeated the Washington Nationals, 9-3, at Nationals Park. Leading the charge for Miami was right fielder Daryl Hatfield. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Miami is now 28-35, while Washington is 40-23.

Early in the game, Hatfield had a 3-run home run for Miami. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Marlins on top, 4-1.

"You can never predict what'll happen," Hatfield said. "That's why you play the game."
