Raucous The Ballpark at Jackson Crowd Propels Generals to 7-4 Victory; Series Tied at 2
The Jackson Generals got a strong game from starter Jimmy Smith, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Generals took the 7-4 win over the Jacksonville Suns in Game 4 of the Round 2 in a 11th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the right-handed Smith. Smith threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball in the win, which brought the Generals into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Jackson got a knockout punch from Joe Clark. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Smith.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Ballpark at Jackson in Jackson.
