The Erie SeaWolves picked up a win at Prince George's Stadium, knocking off the Bowie Baysox, 4-2. Starting pitcher Sam McClure was a big reason why. McClure picked up the win for Erie, going 6.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. The SeaWolves raised their record to 20-6.

Erie used a well-timed hit by Joe McCarty to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the SeaWolves ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
