Fisher Cats Win, 6-2, Versus Fightin Phils
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats downed the Reading Fightin Phils, 6-2. The hitting star was third baseman José Carranza. Carranza hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Fisher Cats. Dylan Bundy got credit for the win, improving to 1-3. He allowed 1 run on 7 hits in 5.1 innings. New Hampshire has now reeled off 8 straight wins.

Carranza had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 0-1 fastball from Kevin Rodgers, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Fisher Cats a 2-1 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Carranza.

"I wish I had a genie in a bottle," said losing manager Shaun Larkin. "First thing I'd ask for is a win."
