Altoona picked up a win at People's Natural Gas Field, bumping off the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 7-3. Pitcher Mike Minor was a major reason the Curve emerged victorious. Minor yielded 2 runs over 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 7. His record improves to 3-2. Altoona is now 13-21, Richmond 17-17.

The Curve got a big at-bat from catcher Pat House. For the game, House was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. In the bottom of the third, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Altoona a 3-2 lead.
