Binghamton Loses, 7-4, in 10

The Bowie Baysox beat the Binghamton Mets, 7-4, in 10 innings at NYSEG Stadium. Bowie third baseman Ron Doyle had an outstanding performance. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The Baysox improved their record to 12-22 by beating Binghamton.
The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Doyle delivered big-time for Bowie, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Brad Woodward. The game-changing hit put the Baysox on top, 5-4.
In postgame comments, Doyle said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
