Albert Vélez led the charge as the Binghamton Mets defeated the Bowie Baysox, 5-3, in 10 innings at NYSEG Stadium. Vélez belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Mets go to 14-23 with the win.

In the bottom of the tenth, with the score tied, Vélez hammered a 2-run home run to win it for Binghamton.
