Fisher Cats Outdo RubberDucks in Extra Innings
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats racked up a win at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, bumping off the Akron RubberDucks, 1-0, in 10 innings. Raúl Sánchez, who started for New Hampshire, pitched effectively for his team. Damion Carroll claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record stands at 1-2.

The Fisher Cats got a clutch hit from third baseman José Carranza. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Fisher Cats.

"I thought we played some darn good baseball," said Fisher Cats manager Rafael Gil.

With the win, New Hampshire upped its record to 19-18.
