Tony Dudley had a good game, but he could not keep the Binghamton Mets from falling, 9-6, to the Erie SeaWolves at NYSEG Stadium. The Binghamton first baseman was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 in the loss. The winner was Chuck Parsons in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Tomás Ganoso took the loss. Juan Vázquez earned save number 1.

Erie used the clutch hitting of Danny Gallimore to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to give the SeaWolves the lead, 8-6. For the game, Gallimore had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"I felt good up there," said Gallimore. "I saw the ball well."

The SeaWolves improved to a lofty 26-11.
