Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Akron RubberDucks and Richmond Flying Squirrels.

The Akron RubberDucks picked up a win at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium, taking down the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 3-2. Starting pitcher Mike Phillips was a big reason why. After today's action, Akron sits at 21-25; Richmond slips to 21-26.

Juan Reyes had a direct impact on the outcome. Reyes contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Akron up, 2-1.

"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Reyes said.
