The skies opened up and the rain fell at People's Natural Gas Field.

Altoona pitcher Tim Gray did his part in helping his team beat the Harrisburg Senators, 7-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Gray, now 4-1, was the winner. In 8.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 10, walking 2, and allowing 3 runs. Stan Martínez earned the save for Altoona, his 12th of the year.

The Curve picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"Not the sexiest win," said Curve manager David Ortiz, "but I'll take it."

The win puts Altoona at 26-20 this season.
