Mets Pick Up 9-4 Win Against Richmond
Tony Dudley was a major factor in the 9-4 Binghamton win over Richmond. The Mets third baseman was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Tomás Ganoso sewed up the save, his 1st. The Mets improved their record to 18-29 by beating Richmond.

Stan Strong had a big 2-run double for the Mets in the top of the second inning. With Binghamton leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Mike Thompson and swatted a double to right. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Mets ahead, 4-0.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Strong.
