Fightin Phils Earn Late Win
The Reading Fightin Phils locked up a win at FirstEnergy Stadium, knocking off the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 6-5. On the mound for Reading was left-hander Kevin Rodgers. He played a major role in the triumph. Reading is now 21-27, Richmond 23-25.

The decisive blow was delivered by Robby Martin in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a run-scoring double off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Bob Gordon to win the game for Reading. The home crowd went nuts.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Reading manager Shaun Larkin.
