Flying Squirrels Deal Fightin Phils 10-5 Defeat
Despite a great performance by Reading right fielder Chris Douglas, the Richmond Flying Squirrels defeated the Fightin Phils by the score of 10-5 at FirstEnergy Stadium. Douglas was 4 for 5 with 3 doubles, while scoring 2 times. Joe Barker earned the win to go to 2-2. He allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work. Pete Bryan finished to wrap up his 5th save.

Leonardo Pagán had a key at-bat with one out in the top of the sixth for Richmond. With the bases loaded and the Flying Squirrels leading 4-3, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Pagán, "one at-bat at a time."
