New Britain registered a win at Prince George's Stadium by beating the Bowie Baysox, 8-6. Pitcher Brad Dyer was one reason why the Rock Cats triumphed. Zander Hughes closed it out for New Britain, earning his 1st save. The win takes New Britain to 3-2.

New Britain used the hitting of Tony Núñez to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Rock Cats on top, 5-1. For the game, Núñez had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Brad was able to execute his pitches," said New Britain manager Gary Kendall. "Simple as that."
