Arm & Hammer Park played host to some dramatic action.

Trenton Thunder starter Brandon Finnegan pitched a strong game against the New Britain Rock Cats at Arm & Hammer Park, leading the Thunder to victory, 5-4. So far in 2026, Trenton is 30-21.

António De La Torre was the walk-off hero for Trenton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Thunder first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We have a lot of confidence in Brandon," said Trenton manager Eric Owens.
