Knights Listless in 8-0 Loss to Firebirds
Today was Jeff Reid's turn in the rotation for the Gwinnett Firebirds and he made the most of it, shutting out the Charlotte Knights on 2 hits.

The 24-year-old right-hander led the Firebirds to an easy 8-0 victory, allowing no walks and tallying 10 strikeouts.

"I hope we miss him next time," Charlotte manager Jose Gualdron said. "Reid certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."

So far this year, Reid has compiled a 3-1 record with a 3.35 ERA.
