May's Best Starter Named in IL

When Joe Dyer takes the hill, there's a good chance for a Charlotte victory. At least that's the way it was in May.
He excelled with a 2-0 mark and a 1.64 ERA in 2 starts, tossed 22 innings, fanned 25, and held enemy hitters to a .169 average.
That's why the Knights star was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the International League.
Dyer has posted a 3-0 record for the year with a 1.21 ERA. Teams are hitting .146 against him and he has rung up 36 strikeouts in 29.2 innings.

Pratt Picks Up Best IL Batter Honors for May

Louisville Bats fans believe they've got a talented young star in Rusty Pratt.
He did nothing to dissuade that notion in May, as he hit .333 with 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 19 runs scored.
The end result was the first baseman being named the International League Batter of the Month.
At the moment, Pratt is batting .275 with 2 home runs and 13 RBIs. He has played in 45 games and scored 31 times.
