The Louisville Bats beat the Columbus Clippers, 3-1, in 11 innings. Louisville pitcher and Villas, New Jersey, native Rob Davis led the way. The win went to Joel York in relief, making him now 3-2. Juan Álvarez took the loss for Columbus. With the win, Louisville has a record of 16-21. Columbus falls to 26-11.

Louisville took a 2-1 lead on Rusty Pratt's 2nd triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which Pratt hit in the top of the 11th, left Columbus pitcher Juan Álvarez visibly frustrated.
