The Scranton WB RailRiders scooped up a win at PNC Field, dumping the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 5-0. Billy Campbell was essential to his team's success. Campbell, now 3-4, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing no runs. The RailRiders have a winning streak of 5 games.

Wyatt Mathisen had a big 2-run home run for the RailRiders in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Scranton WB leading 2-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from Manny Banuelos and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the RailRiders ahead, 4-0.
