The Buffalo Bisons banked on Pat Todd and he turned in a masterful performance. The right-hander kept the Syracuse hitters in check. The final score was 3-0, Bisons. Todd yielded no runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 3, and struck out 6. His record improves to 3-4. Shelby Miller collected his 1st save.

José Aguilar, who is tied for 5th in the IL in stolen bases with 4, had a direct impact on the outcome. Aguilar contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning to put Buffalo up, 1-0.

"You can't take yourself too seriously," Aguilar told the Buffalo Daily. "But at the end of the day, we do play to win ballgames."

By defeating Syracuse, the third-place Bisons improved to 22-19.
