Syracuse Slaps 3-1 Loss on Buffalo
|
Syracuse Chiefs starter Hugh Lemley turned in an exceptional performance against the Buffalo Bisons at NBT Bank Stadium, resulting in a Syracuse win, 3-1. Edgardo González nailed down his 5th save. Syracuse is 25-18 and Buffalo, with the loss, 22-20.
Ken Barnes hit a run-scoring triple off Pedro Fernandez in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Chiefs in front, 2-1. Barnes had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 2.
Barnes was taciturn after the game. "A win's a win," he said.
