Clippers Get Close Win Over Arrows, 2-1
The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.

Angel Rodriguez played a key role in a gritty 2-1 Columbus Clippers win against the Indianapolis Arrows. The win belonged to Rémi Blondel in relief. His record improves to 4-2. Jesús Vásquez took the loss for Indianapolis.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Columbus second baseman Mike Smith, facing Jesús Vásquez, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Clippers the 2-1 win.

"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Smith said.

The win puts Columbus at 24-19 this season.
